Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve efficiency, and to provide information to website owners. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
Similar technologies include web beacons (tiny graphics that track page views), pixel tags, local storage, and fingerprinting. This notice covers all of these technologies collectively.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We may also use technologies similar to cookies, such as web beacons, tracking pixels, or clear GIFs. These are small graphics files containing unique identifiers that allow us to recognize when someone visits our Website or opens an email. They help us analyze traffic patterns, improve performance, and measure the success of marketing campaigns. These technologies often rely on cookies, so disabling cookies may limit their effectiveness.
3. Specific cookies in use

Note: The specific cookies used may vary by Retailer. Please consult the individual Retailer's cookie settings panel for a full list applicable to their site.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our Retailers' pages. We do not control these cookies. Third-party providers include:
- Google Fonts — loads web fonts; Google may log your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — website analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Stripe / payment processors — fraud detection and payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices
Cookie consent banner
When you first visit a website powered by Sophia, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You may accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences in detail. Your choice is stored for 12 months.
Browser settings
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, accept only certain cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some features. Instructions for common browsers:
Opt-out of analytics
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, our websites do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. We rely on your consent preferences to determine which non-essential cookies to set.
California and US state opt-out rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, including through cookies used for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise this right, use our Data Request form and select "Do not sell or share my personal information." Other US state residents with active privacy laws have similar opt-out rights — see our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Updates to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this notice regularly to stay informed. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this notice was last revised.
